Feeling Old

Today is my oldest niece Samantha's 12th birthday...Oh my goodness do I feel old (yes I'm only 21) but I just cannot believe she is getting so old.  So my beautiful niece turns 12, in a year she will be a teenager.  So what in god's name do you get a 12 year old girl for her birthday? Clothes, yes I looked but she is 12.  12 year olds are picky.  Then I thought, what would I want when I was 12.  To be honest, I have absolutely no idea... I liked to be outside and my sister Allie and I would spend our days running wild outside.  Kids these days want more tech related items.  I'm sorry Sammy, I love you but I refuse to get you an iPod Touch for you birthday.

Speaking of birthdays, I went to a 21st party last night.  Fun, but this whole broken wrist thing is starting to get old ( I'll leave the blog on how I broke my wrist for another day). Anyway, dollar domestic draws, I wish I would have had those for my birthday!
